Kelly Pennoyer is a PhD student at Texas A&M Corpus Christi studying molecular ecology and evolution. Her research focuses on adaptive genetic differentiation across the depth ranges of intertidal invertebrates. Kelly has research experience in crustacean stress physiology, coral reef benthic ecology and squid behavior. 

Kelly Pennoyer graduated from the University of Rhode Island in 2008 with a BS in marine biology, and from the University of New England in 2013 with a MS in marine science. She is currently a PhD student at Texas A&M Corpus Christi.
