Stefano Suman

Stefano is an Engineer II at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution.  Stefano is installing new navigation software for Hercules and is a Navigator.  His work focuses on improving navigation and control of underwater vehicles.  Previously, Stefano worked as a research engineer developing plasma rockets for spacecraft orbital control, collaborating with several European and U.S. agencies and laboratories.  

Stefano graduated from the University of Padua, Italy in 2005 with a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering and completed his Master's degree with honors in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Padua, Italy in 2008 with a thesis in collaboration with University of Wisconsin - Madison staff.
