Sam Garson is the Education Programs Coordinator for the Ocean Exploration Trust. Sam began as a Science Communications Fellow 4 years ago during the first year of the program. Sam was a Seattle area high school science teacher for 7 years prior to joining the Ocean Exploration Trust. His work focuses on the educational programs offered through the Nautilus Exploration Program from the high school students all the way through the educators that join the expedition each year.
Sam graduated from the University of Miami in 2005 with a degree in biology and marine science. He then completed his Master's in Education at Harvard University in 2007.
