Robert Knott

Robert (Bob) Knott is the Senior Broadcast Engineer for the Institute for Exploration (IFE).  Employed at the University of Rhode Island Graduate School of Oceanography for the IFE, he has been on Dr. Robert Ballards team since October 2006. Bob oversees all of the Inner Space Studio and Broadcast technical facilities as well as many of the shipboard broadcast and recording systems. A native of Rhode Island, Bob lives in Exeter with his wife Donna, has six children, nine grandchildren and in his spare time is a musician on several community bands as well as an amateur HAM radio operator.
