Michael Bewley
Mike Bewley is interested in finding ways to extract useful information out of large amounts of data. He is currently studying for a PhD at the Australian Centre for Field Robotics in Sydney, working on the interpretation of data returned by Autonomous Underwater Vehicles. Before starting his PhD, he worked as a systems engineer at Cochlear Ltd, where he worked on software and embedded firmware systems. He also established a program to collect and analyse field data to improve product design.
Mike graduated from the University of Sydney in 2007, with a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical), and a Bachelor of Science (Physics and Computational Science). After a few years of working in industry, he returned to university in 2012 to start a PhD.
