Gregg Diffendale

Gregg started at University of Miami’s Marine Technology Group as a Marine and Technology Education Intern. He soon became a full time employee with the University as the marine technician aboard the R/V Seward Johnson at Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute, while there Gregg re-designed and created prototypes for scientific sampling equipment used by several notable oceanographic institutions. In 2009 Gregg started contracting independently as an AUV Technician with the Waitt Institute for Discovery, now self-employed, Gregg contracts primarily with NOAA’s OER and the Institute For Exploration as an Assistant Manager, ROV Pilot, or Satellite Video Engineer.    

Gregg graduated from Eckerd College in 2008 with a degree in Computer Science specializing in Autonomous Vehicles and minors in Physics, Mathematics and Leadership.  He is starting the MBA program at the University of South Florida in the Fall.
