Gregg started at University of Miami’s Marine Technology Group as a Marine and Technology Education Intern. He soon became a full time employee with the University as the marine technician aboard the R/V Seward Johnson at Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute, while there Gregg re-designed and created prototypes for scientific sampling equipment. In 2009 Gregg started contracting independently as an AUV Technician with the Waitt Institute for Discovery, since then Gregg contracts primarily with NOAA’s OER and the Ocean Exploration Trust.
Gregg graduated from Eckerd College in 2008 with a degree in Computer Science specializing in Autonomous Vehicles, and minors in Physics, Mathematics and Leadership. He returned to graduate school in 2012 and now holds his Master's in Business Administration from the MUMA College of Business, University of South Florida.
