
Carter DuVal
Carter is pursuing an MS in oceanography at University of Delaware focusing on sediment scour processes around artificial reefs. He has taken part in two archaeological expeditions in Bermuda, in which he has mapped and partially excavated a historic wreck. In the past year, Carter has worked at the University of Hawaii as a survey designer and data processor for a seafloor-mapping project searching for disposed military materials off Oahu. He has also participated in a two studies with the University of Delaware as a survey designer and data processor for studies using an autonomous underwater vehicle.
Carter graduated from St. Mary's College of California in 2010 with a degree in archaeology. He is currently working towards a MS in Oceanography at the University of Delaware.
