Brad Seibel

Brad is a Professor of Biological Sciences at the University of Rhode Island.  He studies the physiology of marine animals in relation to environmental extremes.  In particular he focuses on the response of marine animals to natural and climate-related in variability in oxygen, temperature and carbon dioxide.  Prior to arriving at URI in 2003, Brad worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Miami's Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science and at the Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute.

Brad completed a BS in Biology and Ph.D. in Ecology, Evolution and Marine Biology at the University of California Santa Barbara.
