This series of photos summarizes the biology, geology and archaeology encountered by Hercules and Argus during a dive on the Thessaloniki mud volcano on August 5th, 2012. The mud volcano is part of the submerged Anaximander Mountains located in the Eastern Mediterranean Sea, south of Turkey.
